A Migration With No Margin for Error

Crowd Street is a platform that democratizes access to private market investments — a space where credibility and polish aren't optional. Following a comprehensive rebrand, they needed their entire web presence rebuilt in Framer while keeping content managed in Contentful.

The challenge wasn't just scale — 20+ responsive page templates, each with custom components built to match their new brand identity pixel for pixel. It was that the two platforms at the center of the project had no way to talk to each other. There was no existing integration between Framer and Contentful, and without one, the entire architecture fell apart.

Building the Integration That Didn't Exist Yet

Rather than compromise on the tech stack, we built the solution ourselves. We developed a custom Framer-Contentful plugin from scratch — a real-time sync layer that lets marketing teams manage content in Contentful while Framer handles presentation.

The plugin maps data seamlessly between platforms, works without technical expertise on the content side, and scales as the site grows. It didn't just solve Crowd Street's problem — it solved a gap the entire Framer ecosystem had been dealing with. We released the plugin on the Framer marketplace, where it's since been adopted by developers and marketing teams worldwide.
